GOAing places

A simple schedule always makes for a great holiday.

Handful of my closest friends with the most twisted of histories since adolescent schooldays coupled with an accommodation a minute away from Baga beach and equally away from the market meant that I spent the weekend in the nicest manner I could.

Getting up just in time for the complimentary breakfast.A quick hop to the hot sands of Baga only to crash in to the five lined up sun beds. A fast strip and run in to the cool wavy waters only to return inland to dry off. Lunch on the sun beds with a couple of breezers. A cat nap and then the same old running route into the water after the siesta. Sunset with a cup of tea and then heading back to the hotel for a shower and to change for market and dinner. Then to return to the room for cards and nectars.

Doing the same thing next day but fitting a banana boat ride, parasailing and wave boarding some where in the schedule.

The highlight, of course, was being asked to pay for the day’s expenses at the beach shack only when we pack up for the day. Imagine eating a hearty meal and then not being bothered about the bill.

Loved it. Loved Goa. Even more then the first time.
