Not a race driver for a day,

When worn, with laces tied, the whites walk
Yet the shoe itself feels like an expensive sock
It’s not animosity, but only to serve a dedicated purpose
The off centric lips and laces tend to stay away!
Heel and toe, throttle and brake, in a beautiful sway!
And this is just vanity you say?
These are my new shoes and though, I don’t race,
If a hand loves to feel, then why not the legs?
