The dwPOD

My life plan has been fairly simple. Ever since I entered the states, it has remained unaltered for the last year or so. I shall term my life a success if I complete the following three objectives. Anything I achieve beyond this will be a bonus.

1. Own the Lotus Elise
2. Work for a Car company.
3. Own an iPOD.

I am proud to say that at the young but viable age of 23, I have achieved one of these three objectives. On Friday the 17th of June 2005, I became a proud owner of an angelic Mp3 player adorned in white and a natural ability to make a heavenly clicking sound.(It would have been impossible if a certain horse-lover, finger-twitcher, hindi-song-singer and my mind-keeper had not helped me. Thank you. For this I owe you!)

This small 20 GB unit will trap U2, Floyd, Dire Straits and other notable rockers and will force them to sing to me, at will. Even ferocious rappers like Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Dr.Dre will have no escape. As far as the gentler genre, they sure stand no chance again the perfectly circular click wheel.

If your life plan has similar objectives, look to the coming posts to see how you can get this magical bottomless hole of music for a price less that 1/10th the sticker price. Also leave email addresses in the comments to hasten the procedure.

As far as I am concerned, I have now focused all my attention on my other two objectives.

Being truly materialistic is very underrated.

  • So did you have to buy anything in order to get that price? We have a deal here, something like buy a certain $ amount of Docker pants and then you get a free one. But I certainly do not have a need for Dockers =)

  • Congrats!

No.2 is not all that hard too.You should be able to achieve that pretty soon as long as you dont get too tied up with Mr.Immelt 😉

  • Sid. No2 is so hard! None of the auto companies want to hire anybody else but american citizens. Yet i shall die trying! I am no ways even remotely attached to Mr.Immelt. Pretty sure GE can do without me!

  • No, I just asked b/c I figured those companies would be simpler to get into but apparently not! If I hear anything or meet anyone in that industry, I will let you know.
